Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question for Dr. Landry? Wondering if it’s time for your next checkup or if we’ll accept your dental insurance? Below, you’ll find answers to these questions and more of the most common ones our patients as us every day. If you still have a question after reading through this page, be sure to give us a call. We’re more than happy to take extra time to make sure you completely understand your dental care and treatment options.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Dr. Landry agrees with American Dental Association on this one: people of all ages should visit the dentist at least twice a year in order to keep their teeth healthy and avoid preventable dental problems such as tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.
When are you open?
We are open 8AM-5PM Monday-Thursday and 8AM-3PM on Friday.
Why do I need a dental cleaning even if I brush my teeth every day?
Great question! The simple answer is that while brushing and flossing are essential, they aren’t actually able to clean every single surface of your teeth. These hard-to-reach areas can accumulate plaque over time and eventually develop harmful cavities. A professional dental cleaning can target these trouble spots and make sure your teeth stay healthy between appointments!
Which tooth replacement is right for me?
This depends on a number of factors, including your dental health, overall health, age, needs, and budget. We offer a variety of treatments that can replace any number of teeth, but for the most natural-looking and longest-lasting results, we may recommend that you get dental implants.
I don’t like how my smile looks. Can you help?
Don’t be so hard on yourself! Just about every treatment we provide can improve the appearance of your smile, but for that extra boost, we have extra cosmetic dentistry. We can do everything from simply whiten your teeth to completely makeover your smile with porcelain veneers so that in the end, you’ll leave our office with a smile you simply can’t wait to show off.
