C.J. Landry, DDS
Dr. C.J. Landry was born into a military family while they were stationed in Leavenworth, Kansas. He grew up on Army bases in Texas, Louisiana, and his family even lived in Germany for four years. After his father retired from the military, they returned to the Westbank Louisiana area in 1971 and put down roots. Dr. Landry attended West Jefferson High School, where he excelled in academics, football, and wrestling. He graduated in 1974 and went on to Nicholls State University on a football scholarship. In 1978, he graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry. He went on to attend the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1982. Immediately after graduating from dental school, he opened his practice, Lapalco Family Dental, right here in Marrero.
In addition to more than 30 years of dental practice experience, Dr. Landry has completed thousands of hours of continuing education in endodontics (root canal therapy), orthodontics, prosthodontics (dentures and partials), and dental implant surgery and restoration. His patients appreciate that while he keeps current with cutting edge technology, Dr. Landry also provides personal, gentle, old fashioned customer service at every appointment.
Dr. Landry is married, has two sons and a daughter, and six grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, reading, cooking, and traveling.
